Best Buy Awards More Than $3 Million to Schools for Creative Use of Interactive Technology.


MINNEAPOLIS -- 1167 Te@ch Awards Support Efforts to Make Learning More Fun for Students; Applications for Next Round of Gifts Available in July

Best Buy today announced that this spring, more than $3 million was awarded to 1,167 schools, serving more than 434,000 students across the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. , through its te@ch program. Te@ch annually recognizes and rewards schools across the United States with $2,500 gifts for the creative integration of interactive technology into classrooms, making learning more fun and engaging for students.

Applications for te@ch awards are accepted from July through September. All accredited accredited

recognition by an appropriate authority that the performance of a particular institution has satisfied a prestated set of criteria.
