You bring the appetite and the Walterville Grange will bring the food. They're holding a chili feed at 5 p.m. today at George Millican Hall, 39259 Camp Creek Road. Take Highway 126 east from Springfield for five miles, then travel north on Camp Creek Road. The meal includes cornbread, salad and dessert - no price, but donations are welcome. A comida celebrating dia de los corazones (OK, a Valentine's Day dinner) will be hosted Saturday at the Crow Grange by the ladies' auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9448. The meal, which includes chicken enchiladas, taco salad and chili relleno, will run from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at $4.50 per plate, and be followed by an evening of bingo - with a progressive jackpot that's up to $900.
