 Museum's `Imagination Station" Exhibit, featuring toys and learning tools from the A.C. Gilbert traveling exhibit. The McKenzie River is a tributary of the Willamette River, 86 miles (138 km) long, in northwestern Oregon in the United States. It drains part of the Cascade Range east of Eugene into the southernmost end of the Willamette Valley.

East region

Get an up-close look at winter in western Lane County: Head west on Highway 36 from Junction City to Swisshome, turn southeast on Stagecoach stagecoach, heavy, closed vehicle on wheels, usually drawn by horses, formerly used to transport passengers and goods overland. Throughout the Middle Ages and until about the end of the 18th cent.  Road to Highway 126 a few miles west of Walton, then continue east to Veneta. The route will take you past rapids on Lake Creek and the Siuslaw River and some off-the-beaten-track areas deep in the Coast Range. The roads are all paved.
