Bessemer Donating Television Time to Equine Charities.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 2001

Bessemer Trust Company N.A. has announced that it will donate approximately 30 spots of national television time to three equine related charities.

The availability of the television spots represents a portion of Bessemer's recently announced sponsorship of the Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships.

Beneficiaries of this portion of Bessemer's television time will be the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation, the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation (TRF) is an American organization founded in 1982, whose mission is stated to be: "To save Thoroughbred horses no longer able to compete on the racetrack from possible neglect, abuse and slaughter. , and the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) is a non-profit organization based in Denver, Colorado that promotes the benefits of therapeutic horseback riding for people with physical, emotional and learning disabilities. .
