Adam M. Caplan has been promoted from analyst to leasing specialist at Besen Retail. He has worked for Besen Retail since completing a summer internship at the firm in June 2006. He has an is working with a number of upscale retail clients and possesses an in-depth knowledge of prime shopping areas in Manhattan. A resident of Washington Heights, he is familiar with retail trends in emerging Northern Manhattan shopping districts.

Caplan also serves as a website developer for Besen & Associates, and works along side the financial analysis and marketing departments at the firm. He also serves as an associate manager of Besen's two newly opened satellite offices in Queens and the Bronx.

Prior to Besen, Mr. Caplan was a summer intern in the wealth management division at Smith Barney Citigroup.

Before that, he spent a summer teaching web development at Rutgers University's Governor's School of Engineering summer program.
