CLT-UFA has also requested licenses for three new German cable channels. Bertelsmann also has large interests in the U.S. market where its subsidiaries (such as Random House) will bring in 35 percent of the group's total revenues this year. Bertelsmann might be interested in entering the U.S. television marker and is lobbying for the abrogation The destruction or annulling of a former law by an act of the legislative power, by constitutional authority, or by usage.
