Bertelsman appoints VP.


Peter Olson, president, Bertelsmann, Inc., announced the appointment of Christian Alpers to the newly created post of senior vice president. In his new position, Alpers will coordinate the leasing of approximately 400,000 square feet of retail and office space in Bertelsmann's new U.S. headquarters at 1540 Broadway in Manhattan.
