Bert picks Prem stars for England friendly.


HOLLAND coach Bert van Marwijk Lambertus ("Bert") van Marwijk (born 19 May, 1952 in Deventer, Overijssel) is a former football (soccer) player from the Netherlands, and nowadays a coach. He is the father-in-law of Bayern Munich midfielder Mark van Bommel.  has gone for Premier League experience ahead of next month's England friendly.

Liverpool forwards Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel are joined by Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong Nigel de Jong (born November 30, 1984 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland) is a Dutch football player, currently playing for Hamburg.

Nigel de Jong is the son of Dutch footballer Jerry de Jong. He began as a youth player for Ajax Amsterdam.
 and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie in a provisional 25-man party.

Three former Prem stars are also included for the August 12 match in Amsterdam, in the shape of former Gunner Giovanni van Bronckhorst, exChelsea winger Arjen Robben and Andre Ooijer, who played for Blackburn.
