Bersin & Associates Announces Call for Applications for 2006 Learning Leaders Program; Program Website Goes Live; Organizations of All Types and Sizes Invited to Participate.

Together with San Francisco and San Jose, the city comprises the fourth largest metropolitan area in the United States. , Calif. -- Bersin & Associates, the only research and advisory firm solely focused on enterprise learning and its organizational impact, today announced the call for applications for the Bersin & Associates Learning Leaders Learning Leaders (previously the New York City School Volunteer Program) is a New York City nonprofit organization that organizes volunteers to provide tutoring and mentoring for public school children.  Program 2006, the learning industry's first research-driven recognition program.

Based on detailed criteria compiled over years of research, the Bersin & Associates Learning Leaders Program will recognize 15 organizations which have developed and implemented effective and efficient approaches to employee learning and development resulting in significant business improvement. Organizations may apply in one or more of the following five categories: (1) operational program excellence, (2) leadership program excellence, (3) initiative excellence, (4) technology excellence and (5) organizational management excellence. Each category will have three divisions based on organization size: global enterprise, enterprise, and mid-market. A leader will be selected in each division.

The 15 winning organizations and their learning programs will be highlighted in a feature story appearing in the March 2007 issue of Elearning! magazine, the media partner for the Bersin & Associates Learning Leaders Program. In addition, Bersin & Associates will develop a comprehensive report on best practices, findings, and observations collected during the evaluation process. All applicants will receive a complimentary copy. Other program-related activities include a series of follow-on public webinars featuring specific training topic areas and leaders.
