Bernstein RE to open fashion district division.

American conductor and composer who wrote numerous choral and symphonic works, including Kaddish (1963), and musicals, notably On the Town (1944) and West Side Story (1957).
 Real Estate, a Manhattan-based commercial management and brokerage company, announced the formation of a new leasing division catering specifically to the fashion industry.

Known as the Fashion Industry Specialists, the new group will specialize spe·cial·ize
v.
1. To limit one's profession to a particular specialty or subject area for study, research, or treatment.

2. To adapt to a particular function or environment.
 in showroom, loft, office, and retail leasing, transactions.

Bernstein Real Estate, headed by Asher Asher (ăsh`ər) [Heb.,=happy], in the Bible, tribe of Israel. Its eponym was Jacob's eighth son. It occupied the northwestern part of ancient Palestine, and its position laid Asher open to influence from other nations and attacks by them.  Bernstein, is currently the managing and leasing agent of Fashion Tower, a 25-floor, 170,000-square-foot building at 499 Seventh Avenue. The building is currently 92 percent occupied.
