Bermuda short circuits TRADING POST trading post

colleague Matt Williams Matt Williams can refer to different people:
  • Matt Williams: a Major League Baseball player
  • Matt Williams: a Rugby Union coach
  • Matt Williams, a television show producer of shows like Roseanne and Home Improvement.
told followers that Bermuda Pointe would shorten in running in yesterday's 3.50 at Perth, advising a back-to-lay play, and while his advice was spot on, it was one of the strangest things I have ever seen on a racecourse.

After jumping the last Nigel Twiston-Davies' seven-year-old appeared to have the race sewn up in front and was comfortably holding his two pursuers, but suddenly halfway up the run-in he just cut out and his two rivals went past with ease.

Hopefully followers got out with a tidy profit after the gelding was matched at a low of 1.03 in running.
