Bermac Announces Agreement With Endeavor Software.


IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 3, 1997--Bermac Communications, Inc., announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire virtually all of the assets of Endeavor Software, including the code for its opportunity management system currently marketed as PowerPath(TM).

"This product adds fuel to Bermac's total Speed-Driven Selling(TM) strategy by adding a powerful yet flexible opportunity tracking module to our SalesWare(R) Suite of products," stated Gene McCalmont, President, Bermac Communications.

Rick Parks, President, Endeavor Software stated, "We researched the market carefully before agreeing to join Bermac. We felt that Bermac's track record, impressive clientele and the financial backing of Thomas Group made for a perfect fit."

Currently, PowerPath is an opportunity management system (OMS OMS - Opportunity Management System ) designed to automate the Solution Selling(R) process. Bermac will integrate this product into its SalesWare Suite under the name SalesWare OMS for Solution Selling. It is anticipated that in the third quarter of 1997, Bermac will deliver an advanced version of the OMS system that can be easily tailored to support any sales process A sales process is a systematic approach for performing product or service sales. The reasons for having a sales process include seller and buyer risk management, achieving standardized customer interaction in sales and scalable revenue generation. . Unique features of this OMS include automated scripting for telemarketing, call planning assistance with links to appropriate support material, and check-list style call debrief de·brief
