After Dark for Windows 95 contains 45 fully animated screen saving displays, with dozens of custom options. Totally Twisted After Dark Screen Saver A utility that was originally created to prevent a CRT from being etched by an unchanging image. After a specified duration of time without keyboard or mouse input, it blanks the screen or displays moving objects. After Dark and Totally Twisted After Dark for Windows 95 offers users added functionality by giving them the option to have After Dark and Totally Twisted reside on the Windows 95 Taskbar An on-screen toolbar that displays the active applications (tasks). Clicking on a taskbar button restores the application to its previous appearance. Windows 95 popularized this feature. See Win Taskbar. . The QuickAccess button gives users the option of displaying a small icon in the `notification' area of the Taskbar, allowing for easy access to the After Dark Control Panel. Additionally, each display has its own custom icon, or thumbnail image, in the After Dark Folder, for easy identification. When users right-click on one of these new icons and choose `Open' from the pop-up menu, the After Dark Control Panel opens immediately, selecting the corresponding display.
