After Dark Games features characters originally made famous by the company's best selling screen savers such as the Flying Toasters(TM), Bad Dog(TM) and Hula Girl, in addition to new characters like the Roof Rats. Introduced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in May, After Dark Games is available as a Windows 95, Windows 98 and Macintosh hybrid CD-ROM for a street price of $29.95.

Bad Dog 911

Last seen messing up the desktops of screen saver lovers, Bad Dog is back in a race against time testing each player's word skills. Bad Dog has put a clock tower worker in danger and in order to rescue him the player must create words from a given set of letters before time runs out.

Roof Rats

Roof Rats challenges players to rescue the people and creatures trapped on a building roof by finding parallel rooms of the same color and collapsing them with a double click. A good strategy of destruction is necessary in order to bring all of the stranded tenants down safely.

Toaster Run

The famous Flying Toaster from Berkeley Systems is back in an adventure that challenges players to find Baby Guy and return the testy toddler to his crib. Each player must carefully navigate the toaster through the house, taking care not to run out of toastosterone, while picking up toast and baby things along the way.

Mowin' Maniac

Mowin' Maniac is cutting lawn like never before, but his wild ride is now controlled by the player. Unlike his screen saver days, Mowin' Maniac finds himself challenged in his present quest by obstacles such as pesky gardeners, stone walls, tombstones and zombies.

Hula Girl

Players help the giggling Hula Girl jump from one platform to another while trying to avoid objects that will set off her "yuck-o-meter" such as broccoli and frogs, and instead steer her towards yummy items like ice cream. Obstacles for preserving her three "hoops" or lives include icy platforms and her evil twin sister.

MooShu Tiles

Players must find tiles with matching artwork that are not obstructed by other tiles in order to succeed at this game. The tiles can be stacked in a variety of shapes and all of the tile artwork is from the After Dark screen savers.

The other fun and challenging After Dark Games are Fish Schtick, Rodger Dodger, Zapper, Foggy Boxes, and After Dark Solitaire.

Prospective players will be able to download a demo version of three of the 11 After Dark Games by visiting http://www.afterdark.com starting the week of November 2. The After Dark web site will also feature information on both the After Dark Games and After Dark screen savers, as well as details on the special Naughty or Nice rebate being offered this holiday season.

Customers can choose to be "naughty" and apply the $5 rebate towards the purchase of selected Sierra products, or "nice" and donate the money to the Marine Corps' Toys for Tots toy drive.
