Beraca is finalist of World Challenge 2007.

The "Out of the Forest" project developed by Beraca along with the regional people of the Marajo Island in Brazil is a finalist of the World Challenge 2007, a global competition promoted by BBC World and Newsweek, in association with Shell, that seeks out projects and business that, not only make a profit, but also invest in the social development of local communities.

Beraca's project assisting more than 3,500 families is one of the initiatives of the company on sustainable works in partnership with the regional communities of the Amazon region. More info: www.theworldchallenge.co.uk.
