Bentley, a leader in enterprise engineering solutions for large-scale engineering projects, has revealed an entirely new OpenGL pipeline for users who need the ultimate in graphics performance. This pumped up OpenGL pipeline was demonstrated earlier this month when Bentley debuted its MicroStation Modeler SE on the AccelECLIPSE II subsystem at several major tradeshows and press events worldwide, including SMAU-CAD in Italy, ICAT in the UK, CeBIT in Germany and at NDES and Daratech in the U.S. Bentley will also use AccelECLIPSE II for demonstrations at A/E/C Systems, MiCAD and at numerous other Bentley Forums and press events.

The relationship between AccelGraphics and Bentley ensures that MicroStation Modeler is fully compatible with the entire family of 3D accelerators from AccelGraphics. In addition, AccelGraphics and Bentley plan to tune both the graphic drivers and OpenGL pipeline for optimal 3D graphics performance on MicroStation Modeler.
