Bentley Systems, Incorporated and Arc Second, Inc. today announced they have signed a letter of intent to complete a software development and licensing agreement. Bentley intends to leverage Arc Second's mobile engineering technology based the on Microsoft(R) Windows(R) CE platform. Arc Second develops and licenses hardware and software technology for a wide variety of applications, including construction, facilities management and manufacturing plants operation.

Together, the two companies plan to bring powerful new mobile applications to AEC professionals so they can manage and publish design and engineering content for use and capture in the field, where it's needed most.
