Bentley Systems, Incorporated announced today that it has released Digital InterPlot, a plotting solution capable of electronic plot creation, storage, and network and Internet distribution. The first release in Bentley's V8 Generation line of content management and publishing solutions, Digital InterPlot combines the features of Bentley's InterPlot(R) Server and Digital Print Room(TM).

Digital InterPlot is a high-performance solution for the creation of high fidelity plot sets that may be dynamically accessed over the network and Internet. Digital InterPlot enables widespread distribution of high quality output allowing users to view as required and print upon demand. Using Digital InterPlot, organizations can replace paper plot repositories with Internet enabled electronic storage of plots, reducing or eliminating storage space and the equipment and personnel to administer them. They can also reclaim legacy paper plots and make them useful again by scanning them and submitting fully indexed plot sets to a departmental or enterprise repository. The result is improved efficiency and cost effectiveness of enterprise workflows such engineering operations, bid set management, and maintenance of as-built drawings.
