Murphy added: "Chile was selected as the entry point for South America for many reasons including: the economic condition in Chile which is relatively stable and its reasonable yearly inflation index of approximately 6% and relatively low unemployment rate.

"More importantly, we believe that Chile is one of the more progressive and promising pharmaceutical markets in Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies. .  statistics indicate that the growth rate of the pharmaceutical market is approximately 18% per year. We believe that with the favorable economic system and the relatively stable political system, Chile provides a solid platform from which to expand into other Latin American countries."
