Bentley Pharmaceuticals' Pricing in Spain Pressured by New Regulation from the Ministry of Health.

), a specialty pharmaceutical company, today reported that, on December 30, 2006, the Spanish Ministry of Health adopted a regulation that lowers the amount the government will reimburse re·im·burse

 for several pharmaceutical products sold in Spain. The regulation takes effect on March 1, 2007.

The new regulation affects a major portion of the Company's pharmaceutical product sales in Spain. If the regulation had been in effect during 2006, the Company's consolidated revenue would have been reduced by approximately 10 to 12 percent based on 2006 projected product mix and volumes.
