Bentley Pharmaceuticals' Newly Formed Irish Subsidiary Receives Its First Marketing Approval; Bentley Pharmaceuticals Ireland Limited receives marketing approval for generic versions of omeprazole in Ireland.

EXETER, N.H. -- Bentley's Spanish subsidiary, Laboratorios Davur, enters into a licensing and supply agreement with Consilient Health Ltd.

Bentley Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: BNT), a technology-based specialty pharmaceutical and drug delivery company with a growing branded and generic product line in Europe today announced that its newly formed Irish subsidiary, Bentley Pharmaceuticals Ireland Limited has received approval from the Irish Medicines Board to market 10 mg., 20 mg., and 40 mg. capsules of generic omeprazole in Ireland. Omeprazole belongs to a class of proton-pump inhibitors used in the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal disorders.

Bentley also announced that its Spanish subsidiary, Laboratorios Davur, has entered into a distribution agreement with Consilient Health Ltd., an Irish-based, pan-European generic company, whereby Consilient has been granted a non-exclusive right to distribute and market a Davur generic omeprazole in the U.K. The generic omeprazole will be manufactured by Bentley's Spanish subsidiary, Laboratorios Belmac, S.A.
