Bentley Commons at Keene, a full-service senior living community has been featured in the annual magazine DESIGN/ Environment for Aging 2009 as a Design 2009 Citation of ,Merit Winner. This annual design competition for long-term care and senior care communities is co-sponsored by Long-Term Living magazine, the Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments, and The Center for Health Design. Selected projects feature exceptional use of master planning, settings and designs that promote the highest levels of physical, cognitive and emotional well-being in ways that support a senior's dignity, self esteem and quality of life. Also, Angela Pelletier of Jaffrey as been named the new executive director. Most recently she was director of community relations at Bentley Commons.
