Bentley Acquires Symmetry Systems.


EXTON, Pa. -- Bentley Systems Bentley Systems, Incorporated, provides software for the "Design, construction and operation of the world's infrastructure". The company’s software serves the building, plant, civil, and geospatial vertical markets in the areas of architecture, engineering, construction (AEC) , Incorporated today announced that it has acquired Symmetry Systems Inc., a Bentley systems integrator and reseller since 1998.

Symmetry has been a leading provider of Bentley software, particularly Bentley's civil solutions. As a Bentley Integrator - the highest level of Bentley's channel partners - Symmetry also provided service, support, and training to Bentley users in New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 state and New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Symmetry also helped NYSDOT develop customized training for ProjectWise users. NYSDOT's statewide ProjectWise implementation earned a 2004 BE Award of Excellence, one of 21 honoring the extraordinary work of Bentley users around the world.

Additionally, Symmetry specialized in helping agencies such as VTrans and the Maine Department of Transportation The Maine Department of Transportation, also known as MaineDOT, is the bureaucratic office of the state government charged with the regulation and maintenance of roads and other public infrastructure in the state of Maine.  transfer legacy drawings to digital archives, within Bentley's plot management server for network plotting, digital sharing, and digital archiving of AEC AEC US Atomic Energy Commission
