Bentley's Anne-Marie Walters Named Chairperson of ECC for 2007-2008.


EXTON, Pa. -- Bentley Systems, Incorporated today announced that Anne-Marie Walters, global marketing director, Bentley Plant, has been named chairperson of the Engineering & Construction Contracting (ECC (1) (Error-Correcting Code) A type of memory that corrects errors on the fly. See ECC memory.

The ECC, an affiliate of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is a professional organization for chemical engineers.[1] AIChE was established in 1908 with the purpose of establishing chemical engineers as a profession independent from chemists and mechanical  (AIChE), is an organization of owners, contractors, and suppliers that serves the interests of the process, refining, pharmaceutical, power, and general manufacturing industries. Its annual conference, which brings together key players from leading companies to help delegates discover better ways of improving capital project effectiveness, is the primary vehicle ECC uses to achieve its mission of promoting thought leadership for the process, industrial, and related industries.

In announcing Walters' appointment, Stephen L. Cabano, chairman of the ECC board and president and COO of Pathfinder, L.L.C., said, "I would like to personally congratulate Anne-Marie on her new chair position and to thank her for two years of dedicated service to the board. Her contributions to ECC's thought leadership programs continue to serve our mission well.
