), Benthos benthos: see marine biology. , Inc. announced today that Daniel R. Conway has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the Company's Undersea Systems Division. Conway, who joined the Company in April 2000, had served as Vice President of Business Development. In his new role, Conway, in addition to business development, will be responsible for the overall sales and marketing of the division's products, which include acoustic systems, glass flotation spheres, hydrophones, imaging systems, locator devices, underwater modems, and remotely operated vehicles. He will also oversee the Company's worldwide network of sales representatives. Conway reports directly to Ronald L. Marsiglio, Benthos President and Chief Executive Officer.
