Benjamin Moore Hue Awards seeks entries.

The call for entries for the 2006 Benjamin Moore HUE Awards are now available. Presented by Benjamin Moore & Co. to honor architects and interior designers for exemplary use of color in both residential and contract projects, the HUE Awards were inaugurated in 2005. The entry form can be accessed online at www.benjaminmoore.com.

The HUEYs recognize design professionals who incorporate color in innovative and imaginative ways--through the use of interior and exterior paints, building materials, textiles and other surfaces, plus design elements and furnishings. The HUE Awards, which will take place in San Francisco at the end of September, will be presented in four categories: Residential Interiors, Residential Exteriors, Contract Interiors and Contract Exteriors.

No entry fee is required; each entry must be accompanied by illustrative photography and profile descriptions of minimally three, and no more than five projects where color usage was exceptional. Projects can date as far back as 2002 and be as recent as completion in 2006. At least one of the projects submitted must include use of a painted surface(s) regardless if it's Benjamin Moore or another brand. Submissions must be received by May 19, 2006; judging is being conducted in June.
