First Level Support is easy to use. Knowledge is stored in a tree format. Users can browse through the tree or use key word or phrase searches. It provides accurate and consistent solutions allowing more problems to be resolved with the first call. It also provides solutions for a wide range of applications and platforms.

Bendata has enhanced FLS by making a wide range of knowledge and information sources available. Knowledge Sources provide solutions for a variety of popular business software packages. The solutions offered are applicable to problems facing support center customers because they have been obtained from busy computer support centers.

First Level Support knowledge is available from KnowledgeBroker and ServiceWare. Knowledge by KnowledgeBroker offers 200 solutions for 29 business software packages. The solutions contained in these knowledge bases came from customer support centers of several PC manufacturers, telecommunications companies See telecom company.  and a number of Fortune 500 companies.
