Benda Subsidiary Benda Ebei Appoints New General Manager.

), a China-based pharmaceutical company producing traditional Chinese and conventional medicines, as well as Gendicine([R]), the world's first commercialized gene therapy medicine for the treatment of cancer, announced today the appointment of Mr. Jinghai Xu as General Manager of the Benda Ebei plant effective August 14, 2007.

Mr. Xu, a Chinese licensed pharmacist pharmacist /phar·ma·cist/ (fahr´mah-sist) one who is licensed to prepare and sell or dispense drugs and compounds, and to make up prescriptions.

Most recently, he served as Associate General Manager of Wuhan Fuxing Biological Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
