Bend festival concerts: world, classical, pops.

The Cascade Festival of Music in Bend has seven Drake Park concerts scheduled between now and Saturday.

Fotia, a Greek song and dance ensemble A group of dancers preforming under a common name: the dance equivalent of a band. Examples would be Riverdance and Shuvani. , will be featured today. The festival's world music series also will include the Romero Family, a fathers-and-sons guitar quartet, in a program of Spanish guitar music on Tuesday, and Duvo, a Hungarian music The term Hungarian music may refer to:

  • The ethnic Hungarian folk music, which is found in Hungary as well as parts of Serbia, Slovakia and Romania

The orchestral series, with Murry Sildin conducting, includes: ``Russian Soul III'' (music by Sergey Prokofiev, Sergey Rachmaninov and P.I. Tchaikovsky) with pianist Stewart Goodyear on Monday; "Of Music and Nations" (music by Bedrich Smetana, Jean Sibelius and Cesar Franck) with violinist Caitlin Tully on Wednesday; and "The American Muse" (music by Aaron Copland and George Gershwin) with baritone Thomas Meglioranza, mezzo-soprano mezzo-soprano: see soprano.  Sarah Mattox and narrator NARRATOR.
