Benchmark your IT Spending.
Assessing the information technology spending of a financial
institution is extremely complex, mainly because of the uniqueness of
each organization. As a result, there is a wide range of spending
levels, even among similar-sized institutions. IBM has been researching
the IT spending patterns of the world's leading financial
institutions since 1998. They have conducted interviews to gather data
on operational and IT spending for nearly 200 financial institutions
worldwide, many of them at the CIO/IT director level. Based on the data,
an algorithm has been developed that allows IT spending to be estimated
to a high degree of accuracy. IBM's Interactive IT Spending
Calculator is built around this algorithm, enabling you to benchmark
your total technology spending against that of major institutions in
your industry and region.
