THIEVES have pinched a 10ft garden bench from outside a house in Abergele.

Police last night appealed for witnesses after the white cast iron bench was taken from New Street sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday night.

It would've needed at least two people to lift it away, officers said.

A North Wales Police spokeswoman said: "A 10ft long cast iron bench, which was painted white, was stolen from the garden of a property in New Street.

"The bench would have been difficult to carry any distance."
