The show is produced by Emmy-Award winning producer Terry Jastrow and will air on The Golf Channel on Dec. 11, 2002 from 9:00-11:00 p.m. ET "We are delighted Ben has accepted to host the telecast," Smith said. "He has broadcast and played golf in many countries around the world and has a true passion for the history of the game and amateur golf." The World Club Championship brings together the finest clubs in the world based on Golf Magazine's 2001 Top 100 Courses in the World ranking. Eighteen teams consisting of a club champion and a partner, competed representing six countries including the U.S., England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia and South Korea. Eddie Merrins, the famed pro from Bel-Air Country Club, is the Championship Chairman. Tom Crow, founder of Cobra Golf, is the Championship Referee.
