Ben Higgins accepts the position of manager of the Public Lands Council and National Cattlemen's Beef Association's Federal Lands Committee, Washington, D.C. He will serve as editor for membership and state affiliate communications and monitor legislative action on issues of interest to federal lands ranchers. He will also work with NCBA and PLC membership, industry communications and media relations to coordinate press releases and media contacts. Higgins previously served as director of public affairs for the California Cattlemen's Association and lead staffer for the California Public Lands Council.
