U.S. Presidents Harry Truman and George W.  board has approved investments of $574,250 with five companies:
Ben Franklin will invest in the following early-stage companies:

Online Staffing Solutions, Allentown, Lehigh County
Ben Franklin Investment: $150,000
Project: Complete development of web-based software to facilitate the
recruitment, management, and scheduling of temporary staffing by
healthcare organizations, and implement rollout of the software to
organizations in five pre-selected regions.

PeopleForce, Ben Franklin Business Incubator, Bethlehem, Northampton
 County
Ben Franklin Investment: $150,000
Project: Develop and enable scalability for WorkCenter software,
which coordinates the activities of a North America-based distributed
workforce. This is a cost-effective and value-added alternative to
off-shore outsourcing. The company performs outsourced business tasks,
such as validating information in large marketing databases.
PeopleForce will also launch an aggressive marketing campaign with the
Ben Franklin funding.

TMG Health, Inc., Scranton, Lackawanna County
Ben Franklin Investment: $150,000
Project: Design, test, and implement a fully operational interface
for business process outsourcing in the health insurance market. The
interface ensures that health data and processing applications of
client companies meet HIPAA requirements while also providing a web
portal for interactive access to healthcare information.

Jeremiah's Bat Products, Inc., Winfield, Union County
Ben Franklin Investment: $100,000
Project: Establish Jeremiah's Bat Products as the premier bat billet
producing company on the east coast. Use advanced kiln technology to
control wood moisture content and balance. Assist with cutting and new
material selection processes.

Ben Franklin announces the following investment in a northeastern
Pennsylvania established manufacturer:

Cambridge-Lee Industries, Reading, Berks County
Ben Franklin Investment: $24,250
Project: Design an optimal warehouse and associated warehousing
processes for this manufacturer of copper tubing. Identify storage and
material handling options to increase efficiency.
