Bemis to Acquire Belgian Flexible Packaging Company.MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 1998--Bemis Company (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange : BMS BMS abbr. Bachelor of Marine Science ) today announced that it had reached an agreement to acquire Techy tech·y adj. Variant of tetchy. Adj. 1. techy - easily irritated or annoyed; "an incorrigibly fractious young man"; "not the least nettlesome of his countrymen" International S.A., a manufacturer of flexible packaging materials based in Charleroi, Belgium. Techy had 1997 sales of approximately $12 million. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Last month, Bemis announced the formation of a joint venture with Dixie Toga S.A., a leading flexible packaging company in Brazil. Commenting on the Techy acquisition, John H.
