Founded in 1981 as Walker Richer and Quinn, Inc., a consulting firm in minicomputer and mainframe applications, it introduced an HP terminal emulator for the to provide Bellin with innovative solutions. The health system had traditionally used light pens on all its nursing stations and lab computers. WRQ developed software that converted the light-pen application to a mouse-driven application.
