The Mayor and members of the Bellflower City Council will light ceremonial torches to symbolize the eternal flames of freedom Flames of Freedom is an action/strategy computer game game design published by MicroProse in 1991. This game was the sequel to Midwinter, and is sometimes referred to as Midwinter II: Flames of Freedom. and Americans' commitment to keeping the memories of victims alive. The memorial will also include a brief tribute to John A. Hofer, a Bellflower resident who perished aboard American Airlines' Flight 11. A giant "Remembrance Book" will be placed at a table outside City Hall throughout the day for residents to sign. The book will be toured to service clubs, schools and other local groups in Bellflower before being presented to New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States.
