Belle of the bells; BOXER'S GIRL MICHELLE GLAMS UP AS FACE OF HOGMANAY.

Byline: HEATHER GREENAWAY

SEXY Scot Michelle Watt will be a knock-out this Hogmanay as the host of STV's New Year's Eve special.

The 28-year-old - daughter of former world boxing champion Jim Watt - will bring in the bells live from Edinburgh's Princes Street alongside Scotsport presenter Grant Stott.

Michelle said: "I'm really pleased about being the last face STV STV Single Transferable Vote

She said: "We were really close. We miss him all year round but Christmas and New Year are particularly difficult. He would be really proud of me doing the Hogmanay show. James' memory has given me the confidence to get where I am today and I will be thinking of him. I hope I will do him proud."

Michelle - who has hosted TV's Club Cupid and Price Drop TV and is the face of Ebel watches - usually spends Hogmanay with dad Jim, 59, and mum Margaret, 56, in her home town of Kirkintilloch, near Glasgow.

She said: "I always go to mum and dad's house for steak pie and homemade soup. I will be heading there straight after the show." She also plans to make a New Year's resolution - to get a holiday with her hubby.

Michelle, of Stirling, said: "I've had to cancel our last two foreign trips due to work commitments but I'm determined to grab at least a week away in 2008. New York New York, state, United States
