Bellcore and Ulysses Telemedia Networks Sign Distribution Agreement for Advertising Software.


MORRISTOWN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1997--Bellcore has signed its first distribution contract for resale of its Adapt/X Advertiser(tm) software.

The contract allows Ulysses Telemedia Networks, a nationwide general contractor A general contractor is an organization or individual that contracts with another organization or individual (the owner) for the construction of a building, road or any other execution of work or facility.  for Internet systems, to market Bellcore's Adapt/X Advertiser system nationally. Adapt/X Advertiser streamlines online advertising for Web site hosts and ad agencies. Its dynamic placement capabilities allow advertisements to be targeted to particular Web site visitors based on individual buying preferences. Adapt/X Advertiser automatically manages ad placement on Web sites and instantaneously provides publishers with detailed reports to confirm an electronic contract has been fulfilled.
