BroadJump, Inc., the leading provider of software solutions for the intelligent fulfillment of broadband services, today announced that BellSouth (NYSE:BLS) will deploy a suite of BroadJump's broadband solutions, along with its BellSouth(R) FastAccess(R) Internet Service. This comprehensive roll out of BroadJump's proven technology gives BellSouth an end-to-end broadband solution -- from pre-qualification and initial service activation to ongoing subscriber management.

With plans to triple its existing subscriber base to more than 600,000 in 63 markets by year-end, BellSouth will use BroadJump's software solutions to rapidly increase the adoption of its high-speed Internet service and to better manage those connections throughout the broadband subscriber lifecycle.

BellSouth selected BroadJump's CorrectConnect(tm), a suite of integrated connection management tools, to enable subscribers to proactively solve routine connection problems, often without the need for help desk support. CorrectConnect includes four unique connection management tools designed to monitor, test and maintain a subscriber's broadband connection. BellSouth subscribers will be given the information they need to manage and understand their FastAccess Internet Service, ultimately reducing customers' need to call the help desk.

In addition, BellSouth is using BroadJump's Virtual Truck(R) Qualifier and Virtual Truck Installer solutions. Whether used as a direct mail CD-ROM or Web-based download, Virtual Truck Qualifier enables potential subscribers to determine if their system can support a broadband connection. Once qualified, subscribers can use BroadJump's Virtual Truck Installer to simplify the installation process and pre-configure their system for broadband connectivity. Subscribers simply insert the Virtual Truck Installer CD-ROM into their computer and the software will automatically step them through a series of instructions to establish connectivity. Once connectivity is established, Virtual Truck Installer leaves behind CorrectConnect on the subscriber's desktop ensuring the connection is being managed on an ongoing basis.
