BellSouth's Compania de Radiocomunicaciones Moviles S.A. and Lucent Technologies sign contract for CDMA wireless network in Argentina.

: LU) have signed a three-year contract to deploy a wireless network in Argentina.

Movicom/BellSouth - which is 65 percent owned by BellSouth -- plans to build a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum.
