Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River The Patuxent River is a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay in the state of Maryland. There are three main river drainages for central Maryland: the Potomac River to the west passing through Washington D.C. , Md., is being awarded a $12,615,103 ceiling-priced delivery order against a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-99-D-1536) to support resolution of avionics avionics (ā'vēŏn`ĭks), electronic instruments used in air or space flight; also the design and production of such instruments. Early planes had few instruments, but as aviation and aircraft became more complex, so did instrumentation.  and flight control user technical problems and support software for production aircraft, engineering and technical effort to investigate potential configuration changes, as well as maintenance of V-22 software with existing aircraft. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (90%), and Fort Worth, Texas Fort Worth is the fifth-largest city in the state of Texas, 18th-largest city in the United States[1], and voted one of "America’s Most Livable Communities.  (10%), and is to be completed in December 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $749,223 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command The Naval Air Systems Command, or NAVAIR, is the part of the United States Navy which provides materiel support for naval aircraft and airborne weapon systems, such as guided missiles. NAVAIR was established in 1966 as the successor to the Navy's Bureau of Naval Weapons (BuWeps). , Patuxent River, is the contracting activity.
