Don't be surprised if you see Tony Stewart's bright orange No. 20 speeding through neighborhoods across the country -- on people's heads.

Bell(R) Sports has captured the essence of NASCAR NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing), organization that sanctions American stock-car races, est. 1948. It held its first race in Daytona Beach, Fla.  fever with two new multi-sport helmets that feature Tony Stewart For other persons named Tony Stewart, see Tony Stewart (disambiguation).

and his No. 20 Home Depot colors, and NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Sr. Bell's multi-sport helmets are designed for use with bikes, in-line skates, skateboards and non-motorized scooters.

Bell Sports, the market leader in helmets and accessories for cycling and other active sports, has seen an 80 percent increase in its multi-sport helmet line from 2002-2003. The company attributes this increase to the growing popularity of action sports, which is driving consumer demand for skate and BMX-styled sports gear.

Available now at mass retail stores is Bell's Slip Stream(TM) No. 3 Multi-Sport helmet, which honors the late Dale Earnhardt Sr., who won six of his seven Winston Cup titles in the famous No. 3 Chevy Monte Carlo. Like the No. 3 Chevy, the helmet sports a two-tone black and grey design with a red stripe.

In April, Bell will roll out its Tony Stewart No. 20 Multi-Sport helmet, complete with the NASCAR champ's signature and the Home Depot-orange color to match Stewart's car.

Both new helmets are made of a hard outer shell construction with 11 vents for maximum cooling and an expanded polystyrene liner. The helmets meet the Consumer Product Safety Commission's helmet safety standards. Suggested retail pricing for both helmets is $24.99. Bell developed the new helmets through licensing agreements with Richard Childress Racing RCR Enterprises, LLC, doing business as Richard Childress Racing, is a NASCAR team fielding Chevrolets for Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, and Scott Wimmer in the NEXTEL Cup Series as well as the #2 BB&T Chevy for Clint Bowyer, the #21 AutoZone Chevy for Harvick  and Joe Gibbs Racing Joe Gibbs Racing (also known as JGR) is a group of NASCAR racing teams owned by Joe Gibbs, who first started racing on the NASCAR circuit in 1991.
