Belkin Corporation Appoints Eric Tong as New Vice President, Asia Pacific; Mr. Tong Heads up Newly Established Hong Kong Office, Adding to the Organization's Increased Presence in the Region.

, former VP of Marketing and Product Management - Belkin US, to the position of Vice President, Asia Pacific of Belkin Asia Pacific Limited. Mr. Tong will be based out of the organization's new Hong Kong office, headquarters for the region, established in November 2005. This move adds to Belkin's increased regional presence with its existing Singapore and Shanghai offices, and with additional offices in other Asia Pacific countries planned for the near future.

Mr. Tong will continue to build upon what has already been a successful move into the region. He is responsible for all sales, marketing, and operational activities for the region, with the intent of delivering thoughtful solutions to make end users' lives easier in an increasingly more complex and sophisticated IT and CE world.

Mr. Tong began his career at Belkin in 1993 in product management. His last role as the VP of Marketing and Product Management in the US corporate office gave him increasing responsibilities for Belkin's product design, development, marketing, and corporate positioning for Belkin's global markets.
