Belgian potato giant again picks Barco when it comes to optical sorting units. (Potato Trends Watch).

Belgian potato processor Van den Broeke-Lutosa is really big on Barco optical sorting equipment. It recently ordered three more MIRA Mira (mī`rə), [Lat.,=marvelous], variable star in the constellation Cetus; Bayer designation Omicron Ceti; 1992 position R.A. 2h19.0m, Dec. −3°05'.  optical sorting systems to ferret out Verb 1. ferret out - search and discover through persistent investigation; "She ferreted out the truth"

With 20 machines already working at Van den Broeke-Lutosa plants, Barco says that the quality and user friendly features of its sorting systems fit perfectly in the processing line of the potato product specialist.

Barco claims that it is the only company in the world that can offer one-stop shopping for all optical sorting technologies: LED, Camera, Laser, X-ray and combinations thereof. Besides the potato processing market, Barco is active in industries running the gamut See color gamut.
