Belenos Expands Network Consultancy to Western U.S.; Former ThruPoint Executives to Head Up Texas, California Offices.

Belenos, Inc., the leading network infrastructure architect for service providers, today announced its expansion into Texas and California. Tim Cox, director of sales, leads the Texas region from Dallas, and Christopher J. Windisch, Vice President, California region, heads up the San Mateo office.

Tim Cox

Tim Cox joins Belenos from ThruPoint where he was the Sales Director responsible for opening the Dallas office to ThruPoint's Engineering Professional Services, targeting Fortune 1000 clients. Prior to that he was the Regional Sales Director for GTE in Austin where he focused on the CLEC marketplace. Cox was instrumental in building the #1 region for GTE in 1998, and during his time with that company, was named to the President's Winner's Circle, the Sales Executive of the Quarter, and was nominated for GTE's Management Leadership Development II.

Cox received his BA from the University of Texas at Austin. He resides in Dallas with his wife, Tisha, and daughter, Kennedy.

Christopher Windisch

Christopher Windisch also joins Belenos from ThruPoint, where he most recently served as the regional vice president of German Operations in Munich. In this capacity, he initiated the German operation with offices in Frankfurt and Munich, and was responsible for managing the sales and operations departments as well as recruiting for the region.

Prior to ThruPoint, Windisch spent a number of years with International Network Services, working on such clients as MCI/WorldCom, Babson College and Sprint Canada, where he received the INS Chairman's Award for his efforts in business development of the Toronto INS office.

Windisch received his BS from Boston College, and also attended the University of Grenoble, where he studied the French language and culture. He resides in San Francisco.
