Belenos Brings Network Consulting Practice to Southeast; Leading Network Infrastructure Architect Further Expands National Consulting Reach.

Belenos, Inc., a leading provider of network consulting to emerging service providers, today announced its expansion into the growing market opportunity of the American southeast with the opening of two new locations in Charlotte, North Carolina and Tampa, Florida. Belenos is one of a handful of new services firms identified as "Infrastructure Architects" dedicated to supporting service providers (local phone carriers, Internet, application and network service providers) in their efforts to build, maintain and grow fast, competitive and secure networks.

Michael Patrick will direct the North Carolina effort, and Luis Tur has been named to head up the Florida office. With the addition of these two regions, Belenos now has eight locations serving the needs of a wide variety of clients, including start-ups and Fortune 1000 companies.

Luis Tur

Luis Tur brings 18 years of experience in the industry to the Belenos team, the last four of which with Lucent/INS. While at Lucent/INS, he was instrumental in the development of the Tampa and Fort Lauderdale offices, from a start-up operation to one of the most successful in the company. He has been a Network Systems Consultant, Managing Consultant, Managing Principal, and Account Executive in his tenure at Lucent NetworkCare. He has assisted in expanding Lucent Services to the Caribbean, South and Central America, respectively. Prior to joining INS, Tur was a network supervisor on Wall Street for eleven years at the Securities Industries Automation Corp. and Merrill Lynch.

Tur resides in Tampa with his wife and three children.

Michael Patrick

Michael Patrick joins Belenos from Renaissance Worldwide, where for the past six years he was the regional director of the Carolina area, a $30 million business unit in IT Consulting Services for Renaissance, responsible for all aspects of the operations from business development on through delivery. Prior to this role, Patrick was an account manager in the New England area. Before joining Renaissance, Patrick spent nine years at Management Advisory Services of NH specializing in the high technology and Software Development divisions.

Patrick resides in Greensboro, NC with his wife and son.
