"Using BelAir Networks nodes, each track and course will have convenient and cost-effective high-performance wireless connectivity. Competing solutions required more wiring, power, labor and time to deploy. BelAir Networks infrastructure is installed and fully operational in a matter of hours," said Chuck Ferguson, Senior Director of IS and Telecommunications, Indianapolis Motor Speedway Coordinates:

Who would want to do analysis or research when they can do due diligence. See wired. , it was clear that only BelAir Networks could meet our network demands with its unique multi-radio offering. The network establishes multiple point to point connections with very high bandwidth and is flexible, fast and relatively easy to install."

The IRL deploys the high-speed wireless broadband network products from BelAir Networks to support multiple applications including enterprise VoIP and high-speed data. Employees communicate work and race-related information such as race times and scoring across the venue and with co-workers at the corporate headquarters in Indianapolis.

"IRL sanctions some of the fastest, most prestigious events in racing today and to match that high level of professionalism, agility and speed we turned to BelAir Networks to provide the necessary capacity and flexibility," stated Jon Koskey, Director of Timing and Scoring, Indy Racing League. "Every second counts on the racetrack and with BelAir's high-speed wireless network, we get great voice and data communications to support these celebrated events."

Clocking in at speeds above 220 MPH, cars travel the length of a football field in approximately nine-tenths of a second. BelAir Networks mesh network solutions also brings a higher level of performance to wireless communications by delivering industry-leading speed and flexibility, outperforming the IRL's previous fixed wire line solution.

"The Indy Racing League is synonymous with speed and we're excited to be supporting the races where the best and fastest compete," said Dave Park, Vice President of Product Marketing, BelAir Networks. "We're proud to work with a world leader in racing to build high-speed wireless broadband networks deployable in hours that can sustain the demands of multiple concurrent applications."
