Beijing Med-Pharm Announces Selection of Martyn D. Greenacre as Chairman.

COVENTRY, Conn. -- Veteran Pharmaceutical Executive To Chair US Firm Offering End-To-End Solution For Registration, Marketing, And Sales of Pharmaceutical Products Into Chinese Marketplace

Beijing Med-Pharm (OTCBB: BJGP) today announced that Martyn D. Greenacre has been named Chairman, replacing Peter Coker who continues to serve as a Director. Mr. Greenacre, a seasoned pharmaceutical executive, will advance the company's capacity to deliver a complete solution to US and European pharmaceutical firms interested in entering the Chinese marketplace.

Mr. Greenacre currently serves as a director of Acusphere, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACUS); Cephalon, Inc. (Nasdaq: CEPH); Curis, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRIS); and Immune Response Corp. (Nasdaq: IMNR).

Mr. Greenacre began his pharmaceutical career with SmithKline & French Laboratories (now part of GlaxoSmithKline PLC), where he was responsible for the planning and implementation of the launch of Tagamet, the first billion dollar drug, into the UK. Mr. Greenacre subsequently served SmithKline in several capacities including Managing Director, UK; Vice President, Continental Europe; and Chairman, Pharmaceuticals Europe (1989-1992), where he was responsible for the merger of European pharmaceutical operations for SmithKline and Beecham. Following the merger, he served as a Director of SmithKline Beecham.

After leaving SmithKline Beecham, Mr. Greenacre served as Chairman and CEO of Zynaxis, Inc.; as CEO of Delsys Pharmaceutical Corp.; and as Chairman of Life Mist LLC.
