Joe Jernigan has been named vice president-acquisitions. In his new role, Jernigan will focus primarily on prospecting opportunistic acquisitions. Jernigan has more than 26 years of commercial real estate experience. James Gaspard joins Behringer Harvard as vice president-asset management. Gaspard will manage assets in several of Behringer Harvard's opportunistic funds. With a career spanning more than 25 years in commercial real estate, he previously served as an advisor for Transwestern developments nationwide. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University.

Mark Alfieri has been named senior vice president-real estate. In his new role, he will focus on the acquisition and development of multi-family properties. Alfieri joins Behringer Harvard after seven years as senior vice president of acquisitions for AMLI AMLI Association of Medical Laboratory Immunologists  Residential Property Trust. He has been responsible for more than $2 billion of investment property acquisitions and dispositions during his 18-year career.

Andrew J. Bruce has been named vice president-finance. Previously, Bruce was with AMLI Residential Properties, where he was responsible for placing the company's secured and unsecured debt Unsecured debt

Michael Stricker has been named vice president--investment services. With more than 10 years of financial services experience, Stricker comes from Oppenheimer Funds in Denver, where he led the strategic planning and operations group. He has an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
